Alex McGarrell
Associate Director
Alex is an Associate Director at Andrew Moseley Associates and has spent 16 years delivering transportation planning services in support of a diverse range of development projects across the north and wider UK.
Alex has gained significant and valuable experience working for both national and international consultancies managing single discipline and multi‐disciplinary projects. These projects cover all sectors and have included £100m+ mixed-use planning applications and therefore he understands the wider holistic development discipline, whilst specialising in transport and development planning.
Alex has extensive experience of supporting major, minor and bespoke transportation and development schemes from conceptual feasibility stage through the planning process to delivery on site.
He has an excellent track record of delivering the highways and transportation elements of planning applications across all sectors which includes some complex projects.
Alex is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT) and is working towards becoming a Chartered Transport Planning Professional (CTPP).
When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching and playing football, attending live music events and trips to Europe.
