Joshua Chivers
Graduate Transport Planner
Josh began his career as a Graduate Transport Planner in 2025 after graduating from Aberystwyth University with a BSc (Hons) in Geography. Before joining AMA’s Leeds office in 2026, he gained experience at a multi-disciplinary planning consultancy in Bristol.
Josh has experience across the residential, energy and commercial sectors, supporting Transport Assessments and technical work on projects ranging from NSIPs to large-scale strategic housing developments. At AMA, he contributes to report writing, technical junction and traffic assessments, and CAD access design and tracking.
Outside work, Josh enjoys going to the gym, cooking, travelling and exploring Leeds, while keeping in touch with family and friends back in the South West.
