Maddie Frampton

Assistant Engineer
Maddie began her career in the industry as an apprentice in 2017, supporting several large-scale projects with the Highways & Transportation team at an international consultancy. Alongside her work, she has been pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering part-time and is now in her final year at Leeds Beckett University. She is also actively working toward gaining professional recognition from the Institute of Civil Engineers.

Maddie is experienced in the production of both small and large-scale highways and residential drawings, including Section 278/38/104 agreements, private drainage, external works, impermeable areas, gully catchments, kerbing/surfacing layouts and land ownership plans. She is also skilled in conducting swept path analyses, access optioneering exercises, preparing highways technical notes, and managing utility records.

Aside from her design work, Maddie is passionate about promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. She has dedicated time to learning about these issues and raising awareness, particularly around the representation of women and the LGBTQIA+ community in engineering.

When she's not at work, Maddie loves cooking, attending gigs and music festivals, and going on adventures with her labradoodle, River!
