AMA led the transport planning workstream, preparing detailed TRANSYT traffic models to assess the impact of the development on the surrounding Leeds highway network.
We worked closely with Leeds City Council Highways through a structured and iterative consultation process, using our modelling and technical advice to demonstrate that the proposals could be accommodated by the existing highway network.
Our work secured agreement that no off-site highway mitigation was required, avoiding additional infrastructure works and associated costs and contributing directly to the commercial viability of the development.
The successful transport strategy supported planning consent for the MSCP, providing 566 consolidated parking spaces while enabling car-free residential and commercial blocks elsewhere across Aire Park and supporting the wider regeneration strategy.
