Full Travel Plan, Travel Plan Coordinator
Project Overview
AMA was appointed to assist DHL Corporate Real Estate submit a reserved matters application for a proposed DHL Distribution Centre at Pontefract Road, Knowsthorpe.
This included the preparation of a Full Travel Plan to discharge the required Travel Planning condition.
As part of the Full Travel Plan process, AMA have also been retained as the unit’s Travel Plan Coordinator for the five-year annual review period post occupation.
AMA were also responsible for assisting client KeyLand Development obtain the original outline planning consent for 256,000ft2 of B2 and B8 development on the holistic site.
Key Inputs / Outcomes
- AMA prepared and agreed the scope and content of the Full Travel Plan with Leeds Influencing Travel Behaviour Team (formerly Travelwise), including sensible survey dates and annual review timescales.
- AMA drafted the required Travel Information Packs to be issued to all new members of staff including full graphic design and printing of pocket size booklets.
- AMA will continue to work with DHL to deliver the proposed modal shift requirements on site as part of the Travel Plan’s implementation.
