AMA prepared a comprehensive Transport Assessment and Travel Plan, demonstrating that the significant employment development could be accommodated without an unacceptable impact on the surrounding highway network.
Extensive engagement was undertaken with National Highways and the Local Highway Authority to assess the impact across a number of junctions. This successfully secured agreement that the development would have an acceptable impact on the Strategic Road Network without the need for mitigation.
Our infrastructure team worked alongside our transport planners to develop the preliminary spine road infrastructure, considering highway design, drainage and utilities from an early stage to ensure the proposals were practical and deliverable.
AMA has provided continuity beyond planning consent, progressing from the successful unanimous committee approval in May 2026 into the detailed Section 278, Section 38 and Section 104 designs required to support delivery.
